about

What started as nothing more than messing around with some music production software, Reign of Terror is the creation of myself, Jereth. The Album consists of 20 Tracks over 2 disks. Eleven tracks on the first disk, nine tracks on the second disk. The first disk is a culmination of original tracks I have written over the years, some dating back as far back as when I was in college. The lyrics and themes of the original tracks are mostly to do with Horror, War, or Religion. At first, I did not write the songs as anything serious, because I did not see any point, but after having a collection of eleven original tracks, including an including an intro and outro, I thought why not turn it into an album as something other people could enjoy listening to. After this I had thought about putting vocals to them, as this would make it worth listening to even more, but due to my inability to do vocals which I wanted for the album, originally, I asked Liam Bertetic to do vocals, but due to various reasons, I ended up asking my friend Oscar Diaz to do vocals, as he had already done vocals for my cover of “The Eye” by Hypocrisy. Originally, every track on the album was done using MIDI on the Music Creation Programme, FL Studio but eventually the guitars ended up being rerecorded along with the drums. For this album, I had a different kind of idea for disk two. My idea for this, was to do nine covers of songs and bands that have had a lot of influence on me, and with these covers, get various vocalists from around the world to feature on each track. The second disk features nine different vocalists from YouTube, each bringing their own unique style to the songs. I am incredibly grateful to each person who put time and effort into helping me put this album together, and for lending me their voice for the covers. It’s taken me a long time to get this together, and now that it’s done, I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who helped. If you wish to check out the incredible musicians/vocalists who made this possible.
